ok i understand what your saying the only hose off the hks bov is what goes to the intake manifold. it has no other hose to go to the air intake pipe so basically what your saying is the hks bov does not work with are cars go back to 1g bov.
well.... you can do what you want. We don't even know for sure that the bov is the problem. Did you plug the air intake pipe? if thats open still, you could possibly plug/cap it and that might fix the problem.
you could get a gm-maf setup, and then you would be able to run an open bov.
did you cap the air intake pipe, where the original hose from the bov is supposed to go to?
