The higher the IAT the more likely you will have detonation. We all know that detonation causes the ring land and sleeve failures that we are all too familiar with on our open deck honda blocks. So a LHT JRSC intercooler setup and a proper EMS(with a clean tune) are worth their weight in gold...LOL! Well maybe not that much but you get the point.
