Why would one use a 9.2 deck block for a 408? Seems to me that would bring on all sorts of issues starting with the intake. Early 351W's were 9.48? or something and then later were 9.5. Am I missing something or has the Iraqi sun cooked my brain?
Your brain is fine, this is just if someone used a Cleveland block.
Cleveland is block 9.2 (9.213) ,
Windsor block is 9.5 (9.480 before 1973, 9.503 after that).
