Just bought everything I need from Jegs to convert my metric fuel system to a quick-disconnect -AN thread system.

I have all of the fittings, hose ends and hose required, but now I'm having some trouble putting it all together.

Everything is from Jegs, and the fittings are stated to be "engineered" to fit their Pro 200 stainless braided hose, but I'm having trouble getting them to fit together.

I've found that if I strip the SS off of the ends of the hose, I can get them into the coupler just fine, but it leaves and unfinished looking product.

Is there any trick or tool I'm missing, or do I really have to strip the ends. I know I've ordered the right parts, and the way I'm doing everything know works, but I'm having trouble doing it easily.

Any help or link would be most helpful.
