Is the strong block on the 4G63 really that much more advantageous than the non-crank walking 420a? and is the 6 bolt a direct swap for the 7 bolt?
take it for what its worth, but the 6-bolt motor is the best 4 cylinder in the world. its rediculously stong, holds up to pressure, and has excellent oil and air flow.

crankwalk is the result of a few different factors. first, the crankshaft itself is made of soft metal, i forget what metal. as it moves around and heats up and cools down, and then putting pressure on it from the clutch, it wears down and in turn wears the bearings down. also, the oil doeesnt flow very well along those bearings. there are so many writeups out there about the theory of crankwalk, you could easily find them.
