only problem with turbo's on these engines is that you are limited to 5-6psi, due to weak internals(rods and bearings). oh and the 3500 dollar price tag(AVO turbo kit), not including labor and everything else you'll need

superchargers are fun, there is a guy on NASIOC (Reddevil) that ran a 2.2n/a with an eaton supercharger, small turbo, and nitrous on a stock engine.... blew 3 of them sky-high But a small boost supercharger would give you a good amount of gains and still be reasonably priced (ebay!)

read up on NASIOC for the superchargers before you consider doing it... alot more involved than you'd imagine.
