i was heading back to work today, car was warmed up and running fine. i hit it in 1st just enough but still keeping traction, and purposefully chirped 2nd, and, feeling quite jovial, tried to chirp 3rd, and was rewarded with a slight "scrrrr!" (chirping noise). so i felt pretty good, because the coveted "3rd gear chirp" had been attained.

anyways, after that stunt i noticed my bov sounds different. before it sounded like a whistle in 1st gear, and then just "whoooosh" in other gears. but now it sounds like a whistle AND a "whoosh" in all gears. well, 1st through 3rd anyways. I never really got on it in 4th or 5th, especially in 5pm traffic. i popped the hood and didnt see anything disconnected or broken, although i could have missed something. does this sound like something i should be nervous about? also, does compressor surge make a distinct sound? i was thinking maybe the bov got stuck somehow, and was worried about surging. but the car idles and runs fine.
