That didn't last long though, wait until someone has a whole case of water and dumps it on you as you go up the hatch! Keep that water down chuck, i know how it is to be in the zone and forget to grab some water from the truck.

i do agree the flightline is atleast 20+ degrees hotter then anywhere else on the base... hot concrete plus hot aircraft does not mix... theres some days i'll be workin out on the wing and have to go inside every couple minutes cause the heat comin off the wing is beyond boiling point it seems... someone started some stupid tradition in my shop that when u leave we dump ice cold water on you... and i mean ice cold... they zip tie ur hands and feet and put you outside then get the coolers filled with water and ice that have been stewing for 6+ hours inside so its nice and cold when you get it dumped on you
