That's the sign of too much pressure in the tire, The tire is holding on the street for a while, until the heat makes it's way into the tire, then the tire is over inflated and won't hold a large enuf contact patch, and the outside is melting away.

Suspension setup can help in keeping the tire in contact with the road, but only ir the tire is at it's operating temp and proper pressure.
