Dude the A/C job SHOULD be a piece of cake. Me and a buddy of mine just swapped out his A/C compressor from with a used one from Barely Used Auto ($100 for 99 Civic Ex). I got him onto MacDill where I do all of my motor/car work he paid $4 a hour for the lift(we were there for 3 hours between two cars)$20 for a vacumn-a/c line flush then $12 per pound of R-134(only used 1.4 lbs. Now if you havent already coverted your a/c to R-134 we can do that as well(not sure of the cost)or you can dish out the cash for the ol school freon at I think $50(?..not sure but I think thats right)of freon. Though in a rex shouldnt need roughly more than a lb anyhow. So your looking at rougly $60 for Freon $15 for Lift/tools $20 for Line/vacumn test and $(?)whatever for new used compressor a/c lines..whatever is actually broken. If its just the compressor..which is most common then your looking at $about $90-$100..IF your doing it yourself..OR if you can find someone to do it for you. Or you can buy SOME people lunch and they MIGHT be more than happy to hook it up.
