The "race line" changes. The faster you go, you'll have to change your lines. Just watch MotoGP or whatever, different riders use different lines based on a number of factors.

let me correct myself beofe I get 10 different people telling me thay were on the race line by the end of lap 1 in their first novice session,

you dont have to be on the "race line" so to speak but able to hold a line, the key words are smooth and consistent, we dont want guys all over the track, we show you the dots as an exaggeration of the race line to give you reference points to aim for

disclaimer: I sell used tires (take-offs), these tires have been used at Jennings, Homestead, etc. (road courses for those that dont know) therefor these tires are more used up on the sides than in the middle,
