Sorry but it amuses me every time when I hear people from the states having problems with stick shifing.
it's realy no big deal, first of all don't rev your car all the way up if it's still cold. after you drived it warm DON'T let it bounce off the rev limiter like some guys I've seen on youtube.....makes you slow and it's just silly!
We here in Germany don't learn how to drive automatics in school.....for a reason. We sure do have automatic cars, but only old people are driving them.
I still wonder why american driving schools teach automatics only?
Ok I have to admit most of the roads in the states are straight (especially in Florida

), so it's a comfort thing I guess, but you all know how hard it is when it comes to drive stick and you've been driving automatics for years before...
The area I live in is very hilly, so a stick shift is way more fun.....but in a traffic jam I sometimes want an automatic or sequential shift because pumping the clutch all the time while rolling is just annoying.
Btw, I have to replace my clutch

the pre-owner was drivin city traffic only and ruined it.
