My approach was stripping the car down to the frame, sending the frame and body off and getting it sandblasted and powder coated, or whatever method of removing the rust and applying protection, and doing the welding and body repair work as needed.
I feel like if I can get that done, I can handle the other work that needs to be done.

I'm just not sure how much that would cost me or if it would be better for me to do the sandblasting, sanding, etc... myself and then sending it off for finishing or what.
Trying to find the balance between time doing it myself vs. money paying someone else is what I've always battled with.

I'm just hoping I can get it restored before I die.
