Please point out where and in what constitution, there is a right to operate motorcycles on public highways granted.

Not for lack of trying, but the right to keep and bear arms is actually granted by the United States Constitution.

I'm certainly not in favor of a motorcycle ban. This statement is like a lot of other statements made by politicians. It's something for people to rally behind and gives him a little more exposure before the next election. He's simply pandering to the emotions of people who are very upset by the incident and using those emotions and his words to win favor. Such statements are usually safe to ignore. In all likelihood, this politician will have moved on to some other pet issue in a week or two.
