I have an 02 with a t56. its got about 50k on it and I've power shifted it since 200miles (first time at the track) and its still feels like a new tranny. its all in how you drive it. if you don't know what your doing and beat the synchronizers with a clutched that isn't disengaged. you will wear them out and or break shift forks.
if people learned how to shift gears this wouldn't happen.
as for the mushy peddle, just replace the mastercyclender and do the drill out mod and your good. but I didn't do that until I had to replace the master. hell I even still have the stock clutch and its hanging in there. but then I don't run DR's and don't slip the clutch on lunches.
all this shit I learned by racing with t5's back in that day. now that was a weak ass tranny. the t56 is bullet proof compared.
