The price of fuel is on the RISE...big time. 93 octane will be 4 bucks by the end of summer. That 2.50 gal looks real good.
yeah it looks good but how much to convert one of our subys to E85 compatable?we would need new injectors, fuel pump, possible fuel rail and defidently a tune.could cost upwards of $1000.I'm all for helping the earth and the environment but it just doesn't seem wallet worthy in my opinion.you wouldn't go as far on a tank as you would with 93 octane, you'd have to refuel more often.
also if a lot of people switch over it will only be a matter of time before supply and demand sets in and the price of E85 goes up and the price of 93 octane goes down.then everyone will want to switch back over.
