Something else most likely caused your backfire (to much timing ? ) but when it did this it most likely took out your power valve. Make sure when you get a new one you get the sane size, it's stamped on it.

2nd run with nitrous shot rt 5.38 60ft 1.8 then i had to cut it off and hit the brakes popped fire thru the k&n so that run was 10.4 at 40 mph what time would i had ran if it wouldnt caught fire i cut it off at about the 100 ft mark thanks in advance gator
