car breaks up from idle to 2900 rpms 3000 up revs awsome i cant even burn out went to track last week and car broke up all the way down the track again no power at launch i have one leg and no line lock yet so im launching at idle ,in 1/8 mile 1st run it ran 9.47 dogging 2nd run with nitrous shot rt 5.38 60ft 1.8 then i had to cut it off and hit the brakes popped fire thru the k&n so that was 10.4 at 40 mph i put it on the tralier after that. so i at my wits end with this car!1 can someone tell me what is going on or any info to help me figure this out and what time would i had ran if it wouldnt caught fire i cut it off at about the 100 ft mark thanks in advance gator

Sounds like the power valve is roasted, have you ever sneezed the squeeze back through the carb ?

Something else most likely caused your backfire (to much timing ? ) but when it did this it most likely took out your power valve. Make sure when you get a new one you get the sane size, it's stamped on it.

Not sure what you are asking about the et ?

thanks scott ok im changing the power vale tomorrow

this is my et question

There is really no way to tell what the ET would have been. I did not see you out there wednesday night did you make it out???. Be carefull in here bother there are alot of Carb Nazi's around these parts.....
