These cars are so not about everything you mentioned; those of us that have them could give a shit if the car won't hold two bags of groceries or would get passed in the 1/4 by a boosted <insert sub-$40k car here>, it's just not the point. I had the spyder out at Shephard's today, no one asked me what kind of mileage it got or if I could fit a 5-gallon Zephryhills in it.

Hey I never said anything about the drivers. I happen to know some super car drivers that drive the shit out of the cars, and are good people.

Well, that says it all in one big tub right there then, right ? A super car doesn't have to be super, just looked apon as super and that's what they are all about.
I mean, its kind like having a hot wife that you hate, and she hates you ( not meaning "you" as in talking about a specific person ), but she stays with you for your money, and you stay with her for her smoking hot looks. When you got out in public, everyone wonders what you have than attracts her that everyone else doesn't have. Who cares how happy she makes you, she looks great, and when she gets old, you can trader in ( I was talking about the car, but now you see my point ).
I guess, I'm going to have to go back on what I said... I don't REALLY hate super cars. I'm just cheap, and can't see spending the money on them as a means to go fast.
In the case of the pervous poster, I guess he's got both, which is great. Speed in one car, looks in another, and even a truck.
And... If you thing I'm bench racing.... Maybe you should do a search and find out just who the sourskittle is... I have more war storys in the last two years, then a lot of people have posts, and I usually have videos. In the case of the lambo, we were going from one racing spot to another, my friend broke down, I stopped at got seprated from the group. While trying to catch up with the group, I saw the lambo, and I was by myself ( although we did drive by a store that the group was at, and everyone saw me trying to get a 2nd gear race with him ). He wouldn't have any part of a lower speed race. Instead, he waited until he got right at the on ramp, and desided to leave me in the curve. One problem... My car was more super than he thought, and he didn't leave me at the on-ramp.
I never have, and never will post a fake war story. people can dislike my point of veiw on super cars, and that's fine, but doubt anything I post about racing b/c its fact, not wishful thinking. And if you didn't know, my sig. is a joke, it ran 11.94 without the nitrous.
