I had the same problem with mine, the little plastic ball on mine cracked......this is what I did, you have to take the whole motor out, and at Lowe's they have little rubber seals, there is one that fits perfectly, place that on the arm and then around the ball joint. Then get a small drill bit and drill through the ball and put a cotter pin through it so that it will not fall off, and your good. Worked on mine, never had to replace or anything.
