well, first night out with the talon and:

1st run was a 16.3@93.xx with a 3.0 60' time
2nd run I dropped air pressure in the front tires, and came out just off of idle before getting into the throttle. dropped the 60' time to a 2.5 and ended up with a 15.0@94.75 or something like that.

this was on 1G maf, paper filter, 14b, 10 psi, and the cracked valve guides, street tires and pump gas ( 93 octane).

staged again thinking if I came out of the hole just slightly harder than the last launch I could get a 14.xx on stock boost/filter/turbo/pump gas which I would have been quite happy with. The lines started to move and the ecu shit on me. pushed it out of the way, and went through a bunch of headaches troubleshooting what was causing it. ended up calling AAA for a flatbed. the gave me the runaround for the longest time. finally got home at 4:30 in the morning, hit the hay and woke up at 8:00 to head in to work.

Oh well, working on aquiring the pigtail for my 2G maf/filter combo, getting a better boost controller, and plumbing the rest of the exhaust in this week ( dunno how much I'll actually be able to get done since I am scheduled for buku hours this week [which is a good thing] ).

If I can find another ecu I will be back out this coming thursday to see what happens.

(EDIT: also owe a thanks to Mike, Tom,Jamie, Josh [well, actually I ran down speed tape for your busted axle last time we were up there together, so we're even ] and anyone else I forgot to mention for hanging out until I figured out at least a bal park what went wrong and how i was getting the p.o.s. back home. )
