i know the Cobb tuning WRX ran 10" wheels all the way round... 285 series tires aswell.. pulled some impressive skidpad numbers.
And the COBB WRX did SHITTY at Nationals. The car looks and sounds cool, but its not that fast. The damn thing was parked next to me in Kansas and he owners borrowed my jackstand while they awaited an overnighted custom wheel. It was also in Ft. Myers last weekend, and again, did crappy. Mike Kings little 86 Civic easily beat it.
For my SM2 MR2, 8" fronts, 10" rears. MR2s have weight bias to the rear to begin with, and so definately need the extra rubber back there.
