Wired new injector clips...now cel
I wired up some new clips that go onto the injectors on my b18a1 because the old ones were fairly beaten up. Well my friend and I found out the ford escorts have the same plug as our hondas except they have clips on the sides of them allowing you to squeeze the plug to release it instead of prying them off with a flat head screw driver. Well we wired the ford plugs onto my harness instead and tucked the harness under the intake manifold. Car starts and runs completely fine through all rpms and idle yet throws a cel. I looked for the code for it and I can't find it. The ecu seems to throw the code for the o2 sensor but I just don't get how it could have went bad. Does anyone think that the ford plugs could cause the cel even though they are just plugs without any kind of resistor in them or anything? Also I did wire them up correctly and they are clipped on correctly if anyone was feeling like asking a stupid question about that.
