OK now first off all i decided to be realistic when posting this thread. There is no way in hell you get 30+ MPG on a turbo eg. a brand new corolla gets around 30 - 38 MPG, so what you're saying is your turbo 9 year old 1.6L engine gets just as much or more gas mileage than a brand new stock 07 corolla with a 1.6L.? I think you might want to re-think those numbers chief.....
Now before the thread gets flooded with people making outrageous claims like mentioned before with absolutely no proof, i'll say this. this right here was a meager estimation, without me grossly exaggerating. I'm sure if I was more precise in my calculations i could get at least 25+ MPG as an accurate number. I fill my gas tank up once a week for 25 bucks and drive an average of about 35-40 Miles a day stop and go ALL CITY with the AC on. Now i don't know what cars you have but 40 miles back and forth stop and go with ac blasting all the time and only having to fill up once a week aint bad IMO......
I got 40 mpg in my turbo crx with jdm dohc zc.I thought my gas gauge was broken but i never ran out of gas.I did alot of highway driving and only thing i can think of is the throttle was open less due to the efficiency of the motor with boost. When i deturboed it and sold the turbo kit the badass gas mileage dropped so there was only only one thing missing that gave it better gas mileage.Gas mileage depends on weight of the car, driving habits, and its efficiency.
