from what i remember, most people upgrade to a GSR brake master cylinder and brake booster as well as the proportioning valve. i believe the pipe sizing is bigger therefore offer more pressure.

the only problem is you have to custom-fab the metal lines because the GSR brake MC lines up differently from the civic.
