Cross drilled rotors will fatigue and crack. I wouldn't buy cross drilled rotors unless they are cast as cross drilled. Porsche does this on their cars.

Personally, I like slotted rotors, as the "stuff" is spun into the channels and then to the end of the rotor. I have never had a slotted rotor crack. I also like a softer pad/dustier pad. Ferodo makes a really sticky yet heat resistant pad.

My current set-up is

ss brake lines
Velocity slotted rotors
Ferodo pads
ATE Super Blue fluid

Because this is a street car, I would change the fluid, buy stock rotors and spend the extra cash on better pads.
