not disagreeing that a cage on the street is a bad idea i mean if you have a car that you plan on making 10sec passes with a cage is a good idea... I just have read in a few diffrent articles about the cage causing more damage to the persons body due to the fact they didnt have a harness holding them in the seat properly and or no helmet
Well if you have a cage, Im assuming you would have the appropriate seats and harnesses also. If you have a FIA certified seat and a properly mounted harness, you shouldnt have a problem with hitting the cage if it was built correctly. Id rock a cage on the street as long as I had a nice race seat and harness and plan to in the near future.
