As soon as they get E85 production going locally and get it at the pumps I'm ditching methanol injection. I'm going to do a basic cheapy 200 dollar meth injection setup and take my chances until then.
It takes too much work to make a truly failure-proof alky injection setup. For the time and effort I'd rather do dual-fuel. You need a standalone to implement the truly 100% engine-won't-blow alky solutions I've seen so you might as well just use it to phase in a second set of injectors with precise fuel metering of some C16 or VP Import. Ride around on 87 Octane and inject oxygenated 120 octane race fuel in boost
