Most of the questions are straight from the handbook...ie. type/color of gear to wear, riding in hazardous conditions such as night or in the rain. But there were a few scenario questions that weren't directly from the handbook. For instance. You're on a 4-lane road coming up to an intersection where an on-coming car is preparing to make a left...how do you approach this scenario. Possible answers are things like get in the far right lane, slow down, speed up, change position once you're in the intersection. The important thing to remember with the scenario questions is that they always want you to consider where you should be to be the most visible to everyone on the road and the furthest from harm.

Read thru the hand book a couple times. Try to apply the things you've learned while you're riding. And despite common misconception, performing a wheelie to be more visible while passing a vehicle isn't the best practice in the DMV's mind.
