4000 cc displacement with 210 hp..thats 07 model.
honda s2000 has half of its displacement 2000cc with almost 240 HP (N/A Engine)
and pepole call V6 mustang is fast ?
so u tell me dohc vtec rocks or ford
Well lets start with the basics.
V6 Ford Mustang. 210 hp / 240 ftlbs with a 5800 rpm redline and a 9:7:1 compression.
4cyl Honda S2000. 237 hp / 162 ftlbs (laughable) with a 8000 rpm redline and a 11:1: compression.
So while the Mustang motor is just barley working. The Honda motor is working at such a fast pace to make any power (do to the small displacement) that it is almost at its brink.
You know what happens when a v8 (domestic car) does the same thing. It's called the 06 Chevy Z06. (v8 with 505 hp / 470 ftlbs with a 6800 rpm redline and a 11:0 compression.) That motor is also working and spinning as much as it's displacemnt is allowing.
So I am sure that if ford wanted (which there is no reason at all). They too can increase the stroke and compression to that of the S2000, Z06, or what not. And have a pretty stout little v6 car too.
How ever there is zero reason for it as the v6 Mustang is just a affordible, good looking, and reliable car.
