hp = (rpm*tq)/5252
tq = (hp*5252)/rpm
lets say it only made 350wtq but at 9500rpm, it still makes 633rwhp. whereas these numbers are dead even at 5252
Sorry i was a tad vague in my comments. I meant that they aren't necessarily the *best* or rather one of the better options for high torque applications. And my comment about spinning the piss out of them was based on the fact that, if you get any amount of weight spinning fast enough it's going to have torque.
Like the homemade toy with beer/soda bottle tops with 2 holes and string through it deal (or buttons for the sheltered kids lol) those weigh nothing at all but if you get'em spinning fast enough and try to grab it, they're hard to stop. No different than those things spooling up to some crazy rpm and dumping the clutch when they launch.
High RPM, high HP, and the proper gearing.
Anyhow, I'm not saying you're wrong, i was just clarifying my reasoning for my comments.
