People that aren't car-savvy have the misconception that V6 = fast. For many cars, such as Accords, Jettas, 6s, Malibus, and various other non-sporty cars, the V6 is their "high-performance" trim, and this makes people think that a V6 is going to be faster than any 4 cylinder out there, not to mention the "Mustang" icon that makes people wanna call it a sports car.
Its true about the V6's some people think they can beat most 4 bangers but they fail to realize that you try to race a 4 banger with a little work done and it eats V6's but V6 mustang people are cocky
