A little tip that I found out, if you have them parallel to the ground but angled just slighty towards the ground and facing under the truck from the back(under truck bed) will make them SUPER loud.
As for the location, I have been kicking around a couple of ideas:

1 - In the bed. Putting the tank & compressor in the tool box with the horns mounted under the tool box facing to the rear.

2 - Under the truck, mounting most everything to the frame, facing forward.

Keep in mind.... this truck goes off-road and tends to get real muddy.... thus my reservation about having them underneath.
