Try Toyo's T1-r in a 225/50ZR15, they should be a good combo of grip and reliability.
I made the size bold for you. There are different tires available in that size if you wanna shop around different brands. Make sure you're wheels have the proper offset before you buy though. If not, you're gonna rub like a bitch. 225/50's are good from a 6" wide rim to 8".
