Default Tire sizing question!

Hey I have A set of Rota Subzeros on my car and am having serious traction issues (can't catch traction period lol) anyways I am looking into some DOT approved drag radials maybe some nitto 555r's anyways what do you think is the best size radial I could put on them? The wheels are 15x6.5 thanks.

The only size I saw was 275/50R15. If you can fit those, more power to ya. I would suggest a non r compound tire so you're not fubar trying to drive in the rain with them. Try Toyo's T1-r in a 225/50ZR15, they should be a good combo of grip and reliability.

knowing the car and mods done, would possibly help. What size is your current tire?

195/45-15 should get you plenty of grip.

Ok I forgot to mention mods it's a 92 eg hatch with a h22a1, it has about 2" of wheel gap in the front on 195/45/15's because I had to raise the front up some for some axel bind issues. BTW 195/45/15's are WAY WAY WAY to small, I don't catch traction pretty much period as it is

I dont know if they will work with that narrow of a tire but 225s should be wide enough for everyday driving.

I made the size bold for you. There are different tires available in that size if you wanna shop around different brands. Make sure you're wheels have the proper offset before you buy though. If not, you're gonna rub like a bitch. 225/50's are good from a 6" wide rim to 8".

i have 205 50 15's and i can manage to not spin the shit out of my tires, you cant launch the car off rev limit, if you have stock axles good luck with the drag radials... ive been running nothing but street tires for the last 3 years and "not catching any traction" isnt a prob with mine and i have a hair more hp and tq than your motor
