Was this doing this before put new wheels on it?

did it have center caps? maybe they are flexing causing a tick or a click noise?

You might have over torqued the axle nut or did you punch the axle nut it might be moving and causing the noise. I had from exsperience a axle nut on a new car were it wasn't torqued properly and the axle nut wasn't punched and it was just slightly flexing backwards causing a tick noise, manily over bumps not normal driving more so over bumps. It was a bitch to find this one until i exhausted alot of other possiable noises. Just a idea of things to check.
