I could care less about family sedans, but to me GM > Ford. Im looking foward to the G8. It will be the cool to see how people react to an RWD V8 Family car.

#1 its been "pontified" I think the original Holden would sell MUCH better if they kept the Holden name and everything. Dont make it a pontiac, just sell the Holden Commodore.
#2 the american public doesnt "get" the V8 familly car. .. to them a familly car is a SUV. They just dont get or embrace the concept. It works in Australia because its been that way for 30+ years..its an icon.
