Usually, under the Comp protion of your policy, you will see a seperate 'Glass' policy limits, which is where they state no deductible.

I have Comp and Coll...and I average about 1 windshield every 2 years. I also drive about 40k miles a year (mostly highway). I've never paid for a windsheild, and my rates never go up.

Right now, I have 3 starbursts on the windsheild of my 4runner, nothing too serious. Just waiting for one to happen in my 'line of sight' before I get this windsheild replaced. (I have 105k on my 2003 4Runner)
