Then if that's " modding the hell out of it ", then yea.... That's get you 11.9 in a "generally ugly" dodge neon.... Add a clutch, and flip the nitrous on, and you get 11.40s.

BTW !!! What's it take to make a honda civic run a 14.9 ??? Just a new motor, new tranny, new axles, $2K turbo kit, aftermarket clutch, and... Yea... Pretty much an entirely new driveline....

The SRT4 is what it is... Its about the only 4 banger priced fairly, reliable, and doesn't give a shit about what rice boys think ( or about other $35K+ FI V8s or over priced AWD turbo 4 bangers ).

Its not a $36K cobra ( with 3 times the insurence premuim ), but its as close as some people can afford, and I've not once regreted it.
I've had a 5.0 fox, I've had a turbo honda, and I've had a turbo fox. This car is not only the fastest, but also the most reliable.

Actually the SRT-4 is on the top 10 list of most expencive cars to insure in the country the EVO being number 1. But i do agree that they are fast for what you pay for. depends on what you like.
