Ok well here is how it works. Yes I have personally done it. You dont need full coverage. All you need is comprehensive coverage. Their is no deductable for the replacement of a windsheild in the state of florida. The insurance company will set the appointment to get it repaired & they will do it on location ( your work, school, home, etc etc) They will repair it if it is just a nick. Always say that it is smashed. They never come out to check the car or anything. You just file the claim & the glass guy comes & replaces it.
