you should get out and try to manually put the car in gear. find where the shift linkage leads to, and push one of the things(i forget what they are called) and try to click them into gear. youll see them coming off of the transmission and the shift linkage connects to them, they are kinda big and heavy and have wieghts on them. do you have pedal pressure though? and you can also have someone put the car in gear for you as you watch to see if the shiftlinkages are moving and those wieghts are turning.
