Find the brand of tires you want, and measure them at the dealers,
that's the best way. Normally, if you go wider, go down
on profile number, if you are concerned about height.
50's are taller than 40's.
Some people only know how to look up pure stock specs
from their book. If some counter guys resist your measuring,
there are many tire dealers.-Bob
