96 4.6 t-bird LX F/S,F/T
The car has some issues but all in all has been a real good and a
very dependable car. It gets 22-23 MPG in city. A/C blows cold, The heat blows hot.
It has 112K miles, Black with tan Mark 8 leather interior. Paint is faded on roof and bumper covers. Also was involved in a small accident and now needs a new passenger door and fender. The door opens fine and window works as before just dented.
The good...
True dual exhaust with stock mufflers and gutted cats
3.55 gears
04 Marauder torque converter and flexplate
93 one piece aluminum Mark VIII driveshaft
99 mustang GT MAF with K&N
Taylor plug wires
S/C wheels with good rubber
Rear disks
Newer upper control arms up front
Newer motor mounts
New style NPI intake
97 center console with cup holders
SCT flashed ECU. It's setup for 93 octane right now but i can put the 87 octane flash back in it if someone would rather run regular octane.
Now for the Bad..
The paint and dented fender/door
Typical valve stem seal issue after it idles for a while. The 96/97's don't do it near as bad as the earlier T-birds but they still have the issue. This one just started a few months ago. It's not bad though, But it is there. a few hours to swap the VS seals out and it'll be perfect.
Would like to get $1800 for the car as it sits. I still drive it alot, just not as much since i have 4 other vehicles.
I can take new pics of it if their is any interest.
Thanks
Steve
