it sucks without having a lift.
you can get to all the bell housing bolts with various extensions and swivel joints. Luckily the SR doesnt have a bolt at the "12 o'clock" position (like KA), instead it has one at both the "11" and "1" position- but they still are not fun to do.

when you go to put the trans back on the engine this (quote) helps alot.

^this will angle the rear of engine downward and become your BFF (best friend forever)



IMO without a lift, I would rather pull the entire engine/trans out and then work on it, and reinstall the entire engine/trans.
