I'd be very hesitant to compare them with an arai...weight is a big deal...if its has heavy as most HJC's, and other under $200 helmets- thats why their that cheap. A good helmet is strong and light and quiet. The one i saw at the pawn shop was an XL...but it was heavy, and didn't look like the ventilation was very good. the price difference seems to be R&D to me, thats why Shoei, agv, arai, and suomy helmets are so expensive, because they're engineered to be the best. It'll be a long time before they're competing against the big dogs.
