The maf-t is a gm maf and a translator that allows you to use it instead of the factory mas.

It works well but isnt needed.
I would reccomend a 3.5bar map sensor and a wideband.
Both are very helpfull when tunning because you can tap into them and log them with the dsmlink.
If you need to buy a eprom ecu still you may be able to find a used aem for about what all of this will cost.
You have a 2g with a factory 7bolt correct.
