Is it even possible to change the timing on a newer 4.6 engine?

Where can I find data about the knock sensor, O2 sensor, and setting the timing for the 4.6?

One more question. Would the MAC CAI make it ping, becuase its running lean from too much air? I always thought the air meter would handle that?
