"laid her down" and "slammed the rear brake and it lock it" = lost the back end... no one lays their bike down on pavement intentionally. Hope your ok.

To replace the mirror, you have to remove the windshield screws (at least the ones on that side) and pull apart the twist-tie like retainer on the back of the head lamp and power connector. It's a pain but not too hard.
