I had this conversation with a friend. There was a video on a MSF course and the instructor asked the students which brake to use in a event you had to stop quickly and 75% percent said use the rear. I'm like WTF! rear only has 20% of your total braking if that.
This is why most accidents can be avoided, because know how to avoid it in the first place. You should take your bike out somewhere and pratice emergency stopping apply both brakes but, hell of alot more on the front.

Lol yea I know, it was just like reflex with my foot just sitting there. But I do need to practice some emergancy breaking stops.
