its really not hard at all. im sure someone who isnt too mechanically inclined could put it together for <7500 dollars. and thats outsourcing the work, such as having a back halving done somewhere. i was fortunate enough to have friends who have done it before and they helped walk me along when i needed it. but the backhalving and setting up the rear end were the hardest parts of it...pushing the firewall back and tunneling the chassis were very easy in comparison.

when i find another shell (people wont get back to me on here) ill well document it. and even do a full write up. and maybe even market the kit. but there is alot that will have to be done as far as weight dist. from the factory it is shitty to begin with, its like 65/35. the back halving adds alot of unsprung rearward weight which i deem quite useful, but the extra weight of an iron block and iron headed V8 really isnt all that helpful for the ultimate goal..think i will tryin an LS1 with the next conversion. the engine isnt as compact as a small block (were talking like 2-5 inches larger in width/length).
